
If you think you don’t get jet lag, don’t get cocky. I got it for the very first time last year and it suuucked. Recently, I found out dried tart cherries have lots of melatonin, which people take for jet lag. Hmmm. Love these—kinda chewy and get your mouth watering back there by your molars. A great travel snack that may curb jet lag? I’m in.

The best was when Konnie and I scored facing bench seats to ourselves. We’d break out the cheese, the bread, maybe a little cheap red wine, as Switzerland or Belgium or wherever rolled past the train window. One of our few, roughed-up mix tapes played thanks to a set of small speakers plugged into the portable cassette player. Perfect.
