At first I thought this would be a great item for a traveler – just fill it up before bed, and dump it out before packing up in the morning. No need to worry about batteries going bad or the hotel forgetting about your wake up call. And while it is a great idea, I noticed on their web site that they recommend “you may need to add a small amount of table salt. We also recommend that you cut a lemon in half and squeeze some lemon juice into the water tank.” Of course, you won’t really know whether or not you “may” need to add the salt, and getting half a lemon isn’t always possible. A commendable idea overall, but it may not be right for everyone.
Yeah — I guess it depends on how often you’ll need the lemon. Tossing a few grains of salt in there before you head out doesn’t seem too difficult, though. Anyone tried this yet?
