I’m especially excited to give this one away, as it was one of my first TrustyPony finds nearly two years ago. The wee Point It “language kit” is packed with photos of everyday things—food, transportation, toiletries & toilets (yes, a nice clean squat version is pictured), medical items and much, much more—letting you simply point to get your meaning across when the language barrier is too firmly in place. Love the European retro look, too. Since it’s a slim paperback booklet, just 5X3 inches, Point It’s really easy to slip into any daypack or purse, just in case.
Win POINT IT by leaving a comment below before 6 PM CST this Friday, April 10th. Anonymous comments and those without a valid email address will be disqualified. The winner will be chosen at random, then contacted via email by Tuesday, April 14th. If I don’t hear from the winner within 5 days, a new one will be chosen. Please enter/comment only once per giveaway. Good luck!
And congrats to Julia who won last week’s giveaway, the tugo luggage drink holder. I’m thinking Wednesday’s the giveaway day from here on out—nice mid-week pick-me-up.

This is a great product and conversation piece! Love it!!
That’s awesome. Wish I had thought of it.
This would be so useful in non-Roman based language countries. Since my dream is to go to Asia one day, and I don’t speak a lick of any Asian language this book would be OH SO USEFUL!
Great idea, especially when traveling to more than one country- mulitiple dictionaries not needed! And I probably wouldn’t mispronounce a point!
This is fantastic. I dont speak languages outside English and seem to have no ability to learn them. Altho I have tried, my brain seems to be lacking a foreign language area. Hope that I win since it will come in handy for my trips to other lands.
Simply brilliant! We’ve definitely pointed to other people’s dining tables while traveling … you know, the “I’ll have what she’s having” sort of thing. Transportation alone would be very helpful. Why didn’t anyone think of this before?
This great not only abroad, but in New York City, too!
I love pointing at things and asking questions about things. It is what separates me from the animals.
Perfect for my upcoming trip to Europe!
Great idea, and the size is perfect too!
great idea!
Dang! My idea taken again……
I am planning on a trip to Switzerland this summer and this would be a great way to communicate over there. Great giveaway. Thanks.
What a clever idea!
baby needs a new pair of toilet pictures!
Sweet! Great idea, sounds uber useful…
Brilliant idea. Every fool can point. A must have for traveling.
Great item! So practical and versatile.
What a great idea! Thanks for the offering.
Haha what a great idea, I love it!
Also a great way to meet new people, too, i think!
simple but elegant solution to multiple translation dictionaries – love the low-tech! hope I get it!
Wow, that is awesome! I love languages but this sounds like a really useful tool for a tourist.
Brilliant! Despite my best efforts, my attempts at foreign language have been pretty unsuccessful.
Love it – I’m planning a trip to Italy right now and since my Italian is nonexistent, this would be invaluable!
