Remember postcards? What a perfect mix of cheap souvenir, thoughtful hello and hand-delivered trip inspiration. HazelMail’s bringing ‘em back, 2000s style, with a website that lets you upload your own digital photo and type in a personal message. The site then turns your info into a physical postcard and it mails for you. The service costs $1.50 per card, including postage to anywhere in the world, but HazelMail recently introduced “HazelBucks,” bundles of 12 postcard credits for 12 bucks. (That’s a 33% savings per card.) To celebrate, HazelMail’s giving 12-pack bundles away to five TrustyPony readers. Comment on this post to win—see specifics below.
Win one of five HazelMail HazelBucks 12-packs by leaving a comment below before 6 PM CST this Monday, May 18th. Anonymous comments and those without a valid email address will be disqualified. The winners will be chosen at random, then contacted via email. If I don’t hear from a winner within five days, a new one will be chosen. Please enter/comment only once. Good luck!

what a wonderful way to pass along pictures of a trip!!
I have always loved postcards. Kudos to hazelmail for keeping them alive, 2000-style.
What a great idea … sure to be a pleasant surprise for the recipients.
Sounds like a nice service to use when you’re on vacation or when you want to send a short note — no going to a store or post office and waiting in line — and you can use a special photo.
I love it! Can’t wait to use them for my next trip!
Wow they look fantastic, thanks so much!
These do look really great and I like that you can use your own photos!
Postcards are always fun to send home, or to people you wished were with you! What a great idea, thanks for sending this along!
I love getting postcards. I love SENDING postcards. Let’s be candid, I wants me some of them postcards!
What a great idea — I hadn’t heard of such a thing before. Thank you, TrustyPony, for continuing to spread your wealth of knowledge!
Awesome!
Fun way to send any old photo – not just while traveling. Bonus: legible writing on the flipside!
Wow! That’s a fantastic idea!
those are awesome! do they have a bargain line of “xxxx at night” postcards that are just all black? i love sending those the best.
Ah! Dream come true. I’ve always wanted to send my pics to people while on the road. Uploading to image galleries and emailing individual pics is ok, but for those not on the internet (grandparents…) this is great. Nice and personal too aside from not being handwritten.
This is so perfect for me, I always end up distributing postcards in person when I get home because I don’t want to cut into trip time to find a post office.
I think I’ve gone thru all of the options at disneyworld… this is going to be a nice change on this vacation!
I don’t mail as many postcards as I used to, but if I didn’t have to (a) find postcards to buy, (b) figure out what the postage is to send them, or (c) locate a post office – I’d probably send more. Great idea.
Ooh! I was JUST thinking about sending postcards during our trip to England next month. This would be fab!
Postcards are the only thing I send via snail mail anymore that I handwrite. Personal snail mail is such a treat now days and a small post card is not a big commitment of writing effort. I will use this.
In the digital to snail mail theme, I have also tried several other options such as shinyletter, postful, themailmonster, freesnailmail, l-mail, esnailer, and mailaletter.
If I received one of these, it would definitely be a keeper instead of landing
in the recycling bin. A great idea and a wonderful service!
Definitely one of the pluses of traveling is sending back the postcards to show off where you’ve been!
I’d love to win this, and think it is a great and fun idea.
easier than doing it myself!
At $1 per card (including postage) it makes more sense to use these and avoid the hassle of finding stamps on vacation. It is a bonus that you can use your own photos. Great idea!
I love postcards and always send them on trips. Personalized postcards would be that much cooler! Especially for sending to kids – then I could be in the picture and maybe they’d “get it” a bit more!
This is a really neat idea!
Great idea! Friends would love postcards with you in them!
I’d love to win
Cute Idea!
i love postcards. the sending and receiving of them is a lost art. let’s bring it back with these fine examples!
I love that some of us are still attached to non-electronic communication! I still love looking at and touching photos… hanging stuff on my refrigerator. Can’t wait to send these and I wouldn’t mind getting one either!
Such a clever way to share memories with friends and show that you’re thinking of them!
Wow! This is an awesome idea. I am about to travel to San Francisco. I can’t wait to use this service to send postcards to loved ones!
I like the idea too. Hopefully, I can use these while I am travelling. In other words, before I get back. The only drawback is the postmark is not where you travelled.
Oh wow, these are awesome! Definitely something I’d use on a trip.
Neat. Me wants.
[...] Nerd page. And thanks for reading!Hey, did I send you a postcard? I won a whole pack of them from Trusty Pony and for grins, I mailed them all out to my Twitter followers. I hear they came out pretty nice, [...]
