Start your engines—it’s summer road trip season. To help: This big, ol’ hardcover glossy-photo book packed with lesser-known travel inspiration throughout the country. It’s organized by state and includes often budget-friendly destinations such as small towns, museums and the state parks that tend to get less foot traffic. While it offers plenty of practical info, “Off the Beaten Path” is also a nice, hefty book to just flip through and dream. This is the third edition, including over 200 new listings, over 300 new photos, updated maps, expanded amenities for each site and seasonal events for each state. Travel on.

Hey, I know it’s summer and all, but a month between posts?
We miss you!
I love this book. It was extremely useful as it had things that are not normally in your travel itinerary. We enjoyed it and I think a lot of people will too.
Hi,
This is a wonderful blog! It was a very good read.
I was wondering if you would be interested in guest blogging on my blog. It is a collection of my travels and the travels of my guests. If you scan the site you can see that now almost 100% of the posts are from guests. Lately I’ve been finding many people interested in guest posting.
Included in your post will be a link to your website using whatever anchor text or key words you wish and a description of your site (if you choose to include one.)
The blog (OnetravelBloggers.com) contains hundreds of great stories from travelers who love to share their journey with the world…
So if you are interested in being a guest, please let me know.
